Officers in the village

Officers have been out on foot today in the village engaging with members of the public and licensed premises staff. 

Whilst on patrol, officers sighted a male acting suspiciously in the Vimto Gardens, upon seeing officers the male decided to try and run but was quickly detained, and then stop and searched.

Found to be in possession of Class A and B drugs. Arrested and taken to custody.

The City Centre Neighbourhood Team will always engage with those acting suspiciously, especially those that decide to run away upon sighting officers!
